Terry,
I could be wrong but this mark, stamped slightly off the centre line, does appear on fake Yeomanry and other badges (not anodised badges which are OK). See https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ighlight=Smith Tim

Jerry, if I see another one I'll give you a heads up.
Tim, I know the larger type lettering is bogus on WW2 badges but wasn't sure about this one since it has a QC??? Do you consider it a fake? Regardless, I do not mind having it in the collection even if a fake, but if it is, then I would not try to pass it on as a good one. When I first saw Jerry's collection of different WRAC badges I thought that was pretty cool, so am trying to follow his example. I find it great enjoyment to have focused themes like this., and these badges are usually pretty inexpensive. Thank you gentlemen, Terry |

Terry,
More detail on that maker's mark posted by Luke here https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...49&postcount=6 So perhaps a genuine badge but with a faked Maker's Mark added? Still as you say a curiosity for the collection. Tim
