Default Trumpeters badge

Can anyone please officially confirm how the trumpeter's arm badge should be worn - mouthpieces down or up?

Thanks

Thanks both. I had accessed those sites and they show mouthpieces up.
However, I also accessed the Army Dress Regulations (ADR Part9) and the Trumpet Major/Trumpeters badge that appears under 'Badges of Appointment' illustrates the badge with mouthpieces down. Hence my request for clarification.

Stock list (page 92+) shows six qualification badges , each with mouthpieces down.

Also found article with video from 2014 showning one being worn.

Found this :
"The rank mark for Sergeant-Trumpeter was a four-bar chevron, points up on the lower right sleeve below the elbow. Above this were the crossed trumpets in gold bullion, bells down, on a scarlet ground (Blue for the 6th DG). For trumpeters below the rank of sergeant, the crossed trumpets were worn on the sleeve above the elbow and above chevrons (Corporal & L/Cpl). "

So possibly an earlier 'variation' .

Looks like the answer is "It depends".

I am glad you asked the question though, as I thought it would have been standard - but I suppose we are talking of the British Army.

So to clarify, pre-1914 regular cavalry would be bells down.... Or did this too depend on the regiment?
