Default 43rd badges

None of the cap badges are marked but one collar is marked tiptaft. I`ve personally never seen a maker marked OR`s cap badge to the 43rd..

The information will be added to a database being built for maker marks.
Your comment re the badges is interesting. I can't recall seeing a 43rd cap badge mm'd either.

I have a white metal 43rd that is marked TIPTAFT B'HAM (on the torso of the lion), pics attached.

I know that you were looking for Birks maker marked badges a while back, but is the data base you are building for all makers / badge combinations?

Hi Don, The data base is for the CEF book project, so I am only looking at CEF badges currently.
