Default 43rd For Opinions ?

Hi Gents,

I would like some expert opinions on this 43rd badge, good/bad etc?

This badge came in as a replacement for a different badge that I was unhappy with, I have been assured it is correct but as I have not owned an example of this badge before I would be very appreciated of any views?

Many thanks, Roy.

Why would you have any doubts about it? Are you aware of copies in circulation?

Phil

Hi Phil,

Due to lack of experience with this badge I have no opinions either way, so just looking for help and confirmation good or bad.

Also and as mentioned this badge is a replacement for one (different unit) that I was unhappy about.

This badge pictured is also supposed to be an 'officers' badge but I'm not so sure as it doesn't appear to be silver or silver plate..!

Any thoughts greatly appreciated?

Cheers, Roy.

Hi Roy,
Your 43rd looks good to me. Here is a bronzed version.
Cheers,
Tinto

hi roy
the badge looks ok to me but im not sure what makes it an officers badge?
im no expert on canadian badges but would have thought if there was an officers version it would be of better manufacture than this one. it could also be that the badge was worn by all ranks?

Hi Gents,

Thanks for your thoughts thus far. I'm thinking it is a good badge then, although not convinced of the claim (by the seller) that is an officer badge but then again what do I know

Any more thoughts, comments or critique welcome?

Roy.
