Question Help needed!

Hi, I am doing some family research and have a photo that I'd like to date and find out some information on. The men are in uniform but unfortunately the cap badges are quite blurred. My family are from Cheshire and Staffordshire, it looks to me like they could be Cheshire badges but I really have no clue. Also does anyone know anything about the coats they are wearing?
Many thanks
Catherine

Possibly Army Service Corps.
The shape of the badges would fit (albeit it would also fit other badges), the coats would suggest motorised transport.

I’d agree with Leigh, Army Service Corps and possibly motorised transport section wearing that lovely warm looking coat,I could do with one of those coats today as it’s cold cold my way !!

Hi Gerard in Sunny Herts, it’s minus 9c here and forecast to reach -12c during the night. But hey, the days are getting longer and we did see the Sun today!. D.J.
