Unknown Worcestershire Yeoman.
One of the very view Worcestershire Yeomanry photographs in my collection and the first with a clear view of the cap badge.

A nice photo.
I found this very clear image some years ago online, possibly Twitter. Apologies if this belongs to someone, just say and I’ll remove. |

That is even clearer than mine, a superb photograph and such a young lad.

Yes very youthful. You can even tell it’s a badge from this die, note the hook to the pear blossom stem, crown shape and badge outline.

Looking at the size of the cap and the amount of hair holding it up I would say It's a young woman playing dress-up.

Now you’ve mentioned it that does seem possible Hoot, but the rest of the uniform seems to fit quite well?

Luke, given the amount of hair under the cap, a haircut would put the cap down over the ears and also, by the looks of it, there is no sign of an Adam's Apple. In my opinion what we have there is a slightly built young lady wearing her boyfriend's/fiance's/husband's/brother's uniform for the fun of it, it was common practice back then.
