Hello Holmzey, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
It was not unusual for American citizens to join the British or Commonwealth forces during the Second WW. The title looks ok.

Welcome, a very nice USA Officer shoulder title. You are most likely going to make Terry (Home-guard) very jealous and me come to think of it.....

Really? Just by thinking about it? It must be good.

It does seem very nice! For my edification, what makes it ATS as I don't see anything to indicate it in the photo.
Jerry, appreciate the thought, but after we downsized our home I no longer collect uniforms. The few I have in my study now are it. Plus I have one hanging in a protective bag with cedar wood in the closet. Terry Last edited by Home Guard; 16-06-20 at 04:30 PM. |

That shoulder title looks great, with fancy stitching as well.

"Blanket stitch" is one of the terms for that style of stitching, there are other named for it.

I never realised Anderson's made uniforms as well as badges. I'd always associated them with silver Scottish Regt badges.

I have an Anderson's 1914 dated RAMC forage cap.
Were the badges not made by other companies but marked to Anderson's as the outlet or have I got that wrong? |

Amend my last - sorry, wrong "Anderson's", the RAMC cap's by a different outfitters of similar name.
