Double Badged
Looking to have been taken in the 1920s/1930s, probably at camp or a range weekend, this Corporal has on his blue patrols - no sign of regimental insignia -two badges, an LG above a horse shoe. Was this permitted?

I'm still confused by the "Blue" "Blues" "Patrol" "Patrols" uniforms.
This previous thread seems to point to pocket pleats being earlier than the 1930s or after 1949? Rob https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=74150 |

Blues, patrols etc. are all the same thing. The Corporal in question is probably not a regular, but Yeomanry. Strange badge wear and tailoring details do appear on these uniforms, sometimes regimental custom dictates this.
