Default Pegasus Formation Sign, Opinions as to Date of Manufacture Please.

I believe this badge to be genuine, not that I know much about the "Pegasus patch".
If it is, can anyone offer suggestions as to date of manufacture and wear please?

Default Pegasus Formation Badge

Hello Leigh Kitchen,
Personally have some limited doubts. Again it may be that it is just very well worn. You may want to check the following; https://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/p/british-militaria.html Scroll down a ways to get to the pertinent discussion and images.

Leigh, this is a well known glue back Pegasus that is generally accepted as WW2 production.

I would agree with Luc: the glue back, the overlaying leg of Bellerophon are good indications of a WW2 period patch. The felt is probably thicker than later versions.
