Question Welsh Guards Pagri Kings Crown

Been looking through my cap badge collection and found this badge. I now what it is but according to J Gaylor's book, it should have gaps around the leek. Mine does not however.

Does this means my a fake?

Thank you for the help

Phil,
Just to back Bantam up on this one, this is one of the most widely copied badges and most of the copies are not even of the right pattern.
One copy I have even has a blade fixed to the back to suggest that this is used for retaining the red felt backing.
Generally assume any version of this badge offered for sale outside of an auction house will be a fake.
