Royal New South Wales Lancers
I recently came into posession of this Royal N.S.W. Lancers hat badge. I asume post 1930... It appears to be copper oxidised and has been die stamped. The badge although a little dirty has a lot of detail... my problem is I cannot find an exact picture of it in any of the Festberg or Cossum books and a search of the internet has also drawn a blank... Yes I have found plenty that are similar, close even but not an exact match... so I was wondering if any of our LH collectors may be able to shed light on it... Cheers Marc

Looks like a 1940-42 1st LH (NSW Lancers) badge to me.
Probably a manufacturer variation. Mick
