Victorian (Welsh?) Archers or bowmen cap badge?
Hi Gents,
I have a cracking silver & gilt Victorian badge I would like to have identified please. It is 60mm tall x 40mm wide and appears to have a longbow, arrows and a Leek in silver! surrounded by a garter with Honi Soit qui Mal Y Pense within. Under the silver bow, arrows and leek is the initials R.B.B The leek obviously gives me a clue it may indeed have a Welsh connection. Many Thanks in advance Colin |

Possibly connected to the Royal British Bowmen.

Thanks Mike,
And certainly a Welsh connection with the Royal British Bowmen. I think if found to be true a very early cap badge! Many thanks for the info! |
