Default Military Button ID

This button say 13 L D , on the front . There does not appear to have a makers mark , but there is alot of verdigre on it so it maybe hidden

The 13th Light Dragoons, renamed 13th Hussars in 1861.

Thanks for the reply, This button was found in Ireland, any idea when this unit was in Ireland

I think it's an officer's button, early 1800's.
