some one out there as just paid £203 for a Birmingham UTC badge and £84 for a Tonbridge OTC

Senior Division o.t c in 1948 redesigned university training corps ,in 1955 reverted to the original title of O.T.C
U.T.C 1948-1955

Not an easy one to find ,but not as hard as Sheffield UTC.

Scroll reads "university of sheffield utc " . Similar dates to which Dave quotes above for the Bham badge.
So yes there is another Marc

Marc there is also a St Andrews University U T C .these were also very scarce until a dealer purchased a job lot from a northern auction house He was selling these very cheap

Which St Andrew's University UTC do you mean? Is it Tayforth Universities UOTC (St Andrew’s Dundee & Stirling)?

Any chance of a picture of this badge?

William unable to post a photo of the individual badge ,but if you go to my album there is an out of date board of a/a U.O T C badges the 1 you want is very bottom left .Hope this helps

Yes I have a Sheffield University UTC badge which Mike kindly helped me with. This is one of the badges I will be selling from my collection, it is very interesting to learn the history of these unusual badges.
