Griff,
have you paid for it yet? I wouldn't.... it looks very suspect! "Choked Cartoon Worms" on the helmet, ALWAYS a bad sign! And that slider certainly ain't right! Andy Last edited by 2747andy; 07-01-12 at 07:10 PM. |

Beret badge
Quote:
Yes, I still have that beret and the badge. The beret suffered from heavy mothing. It looks as if the beret badge has been on there for donkey's years. See pictures of the badge. Apparently, there is a fair amount of Brasso on it also. I also very much prefer the other beret badge variation. Cheers! Mike,
To answer a question that I have often thought about, does your recruiting pamphlet mention any qualifications or requirements for recruits wanting to join the Artists Rifles ? Peter

My small grouping. Feel good about all except the blackened badge bottom row, unsure on that one. When would it have been used and or made?

Thank you J.T. for the photo post. Your badge looks a good one. It makes me call mine into question a bit more. The detail of the scroll and the pebbled background really jumps out at me. In addition to the slider. Jack

A little difficult for me to see clearly, but has your badge perhaps had black paint applied to it? If so, any finer details may have been obscured. |

The bronzed bottom row left looks iffy. Minerva doesn't have the infamous protruding chin, but the eyeball doesn't bode well, I think. I'm sure others more in the know will correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers Colin
