What insignia?
Hi all,
Does anyone know what insignia chap is wearing on his cap? He looks like a general, but I've no idea what insignia on cap is? Any help? Thanks, Stephen |

The insignia is three shamrocks. One left, one right, and one vertical. This ‘Trinity’ style Irish Shamrock cap badge is for Irish members of the Lieutenancy of Ireland, including Vice Lord-Lieutenants and Deputy Lord-Lieutenants. Each of the Irish (originally) North Irish (now) Counties had one of these.
