Warwickshire Regiment Badge with brooch back
Good day
This is a puzzle to me. Clearly Warwickshire Regiment and very similar to the forage cap badge but it isn't. Good quality white metal with a strong brooch fitting to the rear. I don't think it has been converted. Militia related? The photo is the closest I have been able to get - bullion forage cap badge in wear. Any thoughts? Many thanks

I've just had confirmation from the Fusilier's Museum that this is one of two patterns for an officer's foreign service helmet badge from 1870 - 1880's.
I have asked them for pictures of both badges side by side.
