Default Norfolk Yeomanry NCOs Arm Badge

Two examples of KORRNY NCOs arm badges these were being sold for silly money £400 plus at one stage which is way overboard IMOO. The are not common but do turn up die struck and cast. I’m have a good clear out and tidy up as I’m passing my badges on.

What is the significance of the two different patterns? As mentioned, these are seldom seen and are not cheap when they show up.
Great photo as well. The Yeomanry always had the best chevrons.

Hi there both the collars and NCO arm badges were changed I believe it was due to the Haldane reform that created the TF they went from being the Norfolk Imperial Yeomanry (King's Own) to the Norfolk Yeomanry (King's Own Royal Regiment) (Dragoons) circa 1908. The later pattern collars and arm badge were worn through WW1 until they became artillery early 1920s.
