Default 68th glengarry

Hi All,

still looking for a good 68th(Durham)glengarry. Thoughts on this one please on ebay USA - brass lugs north and south.

Indeed it is cast and nothing like the originals to my knowledge.

Many thanks. The main problem I am having with finding a good one of these(apart from the fact that there aren't many about) is the lack of any reference on them ie photos even here on the forum. Can anyone help with photos and/or pointers to look for on them.

Hi Luke, yes there are, but photos not the best and don't show the rear of the badges.

Even if detail isn’t great from the shape you should be able to judge if it’s a different die.

I find the numeral attachment points are often an indication and quite often there are clear differences between the ones in KK or Jeff’s book v’s those sold on eBay.

Thanks Paul. I should have thought to look in Jeff’s albums.

Here they are side by side, clear differences including to the numerals and their attachment areas.
