Default Leeds Pals

Should we be worried about this badge ? On Tenniswoods site and sold as a restrike. No pics of the rear, but the front looks quite good to me - straight small owl, chunky legs etc. If these are artificially aged, could be of concern ?

Mark

Go on, buy it! You might get lucky! I noticed it yesterday and thought it looked good. So, does he have a good badge, a good looking copy badge, or is it not the badge you will get? Regards, Paul.

There’s a quantity option, try clicking 10!

If ten genuine Leeds Pals badges turn up I’ll have one off you…

Hello Mark, Do not buy this badge!! The image in the listing is genuine,
But the badge you receive is the skinny legged owls and the anorexic sheep!!
I fell for this and was bloody annoyed upon receipt, But you pay your money and take your chance. suffice to say, The badge was not returned but set upon with a mash hammer! kind regards Ricardo

Default badge

Hi Ricardo,

I had no intention of buying it, just showed on here to raise concern - but can't understand that you got a different badge than that shown, he can't do that.

Hello Mark,
Yes I know he shouldn't do that, but I reckon he thinks by stating the badge is a reproduction, he can counter any comebacks regardless of the image.
Kind regards Ricardo

Default bad swop

Back in the day when i was a little green in military collecting 1975 to be precise. While attending the London Arms and Armour fair at the Royal Lancaster hotel. I exchanged with a bearded dealer my very nice world war two Japanese Katana for what looked like at the time a very nice SS dagger. Months later i found out to my dismay that the SS dagger was a Spanish copy. Need i say who the dealer was? It was a hard lesson to learn. Lets be careful out there. Army-vet.

Ohh, that’s very clever of him, so you can’t complain it’s a copy, because he said it is.
