I see the similarity to RM globe within laurel wreath, but both badges appear to have a scroll at the bottom?
Are those lapels right for British OSD tunics?

I would agree that it is probably foreign.

Polish maybe? The medal ribbons look British to me.

Is the clergyman not Spencer Leeson the Head at Winchester from 1934 to 1946?

https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/...college-331182

Monty visited the school in 1946 to inspect their Junior Training Corps.

May be worth sending to the school archivist for an opinion - they may have a copy, and also be able to ID the officers, who do not look like regular army to my untrained eyes.

I think you may be right (I've only just spotted this post - I'll blame my phone).

That was my thought, Winchester, there was also a school named after him in Winchester.
Also explains why no medal ribbons on the guys at the back...they are students.

I haven't received this item yet. But Winchester would be right. Just had a closer look and I can see the photographer name on the rear, in reverse and 'Winchester' under the name.
