Sealed Pattern: First 1960 Pattern Chevrons worn on No 2 Dress introduced to replace 1949 Pattern Battle Dress on which larger chevrons were used. ‘Apple’ Green on Rifle Green for the Rifle Brigade / 3rd Greenjackets Tim

These ‘apple green on rifle green’ chevrons have long been tricky to identify. I have several different Sealed Patterns with 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 chevrons.
This Rifle Brigade Battle Dress provides more confusion! As does this WW1 impression. Tim
