Default Green Howards jacket

Good morning,

I need your advice about his drill jacket proposed by a French dealer, dated 1941.

The tunic is of course genuine as well as the badges, but they have been added in recent times in my opinion. Those single lug collar badges are post war to my understanding. Also, these older pattern tunics were very seldom worn by the time of WW2, which explains why they are usually seen in unworn or little worn condition. Warrant officers would also normally have a different tailored tunic unlike the standard OR issue. Also, the front fly buttons were supposed to be the smaller size as on the pockets. Note that they are too large for the button hole. Finally, cloth arm rank badges were the norm in India, not metal.
