Default Unusual WW1 RFC wing

Thought I’d share a picture or two of a very unusual RFC wing without a wreath around the monogram .

I am looking forward to hearing how this pans out?

First glance and I thought bad! (bet the rear is all mush!) Which in a way it was but not to the extent I was thinking it would be? It's actually quite uniform sooo! As it is such a badly made badge (but much better than if I had a go!) someone will come along and say it's a good one???

Why I look forward to seeing how this pans out!

to me it looks original and middle east made, the seller had a buy now for £100 and then changed their mind ...and doubled the amount.

I'd agree its probably Middle East made. Its a little too good to be POW made (although a possibility), and I think the brown that can be seen around/under the 'C' is a crude representation of the wreath.

I don't like that it has 11 feathers on one wing and 10 on the other. Seems like an odd mistake to make.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex
I have actually seen this a number of times on original wings, it is not of concern on this one .
best wishes
Steve
