Default WW1 Inniskilling Fusiliers

G'Day,

Would like some help with the economy Inniskilling Fusiliers. The photos are the best that I could get.

Cheers Scotch

Scotch,
Sorry, I don't like this badge. I would expect an IE badge to have a slider rather than lugs.

I would agree that it is not a genuine 1916 all brass cap badge.

Thanks gentlemen for such a speedy reply. Thought it was too good to be true as it is selling fairly cheap. I'll keep away from it! Thanks again Scotch.

Undoubtedly a fake as mentioned by others. Always be suspicious of loops fitted east & west on O/R Royal Inniskilling and Royal Munster Fusiliers badges, I have yet to see any that I consider genuine.

Thanks again,

A great reference Andy. I'm no expert in any way, shape or form, but thankfully because of the assistance from generous people on this forum I have saved a number of times over the past 18 months from buying the wrong badge, so a big thanks to you all.

Cheers Scotch
