Nicely found.
I have a few photos showing the rectangular red cross on white cap badge which I have filed under 'Red Cross", were such badges worn only by the Red Cross?

I did a quick search after my last post and found the BRC uniform shown in the postcard. Something new learnt. I believe the FAU wore cloth badges.

The FAU were under the control of the British Red Cross in WW1, hence the cap badge.
