It's where you find them...
Sometimes you just never know where a badge will turn up. This trench art shell casing has a Field Comforts Commision badge attached. I think the shell casing is a captured German item as it's marked POLTE MAGDERBURG ARZ 1917 on the bottom.

I have a few items like this in my collection it certainly adds to a display. This is one of my more recent buys a scarce 246th maple leaf collar on a swagger stick top.

Although nice items!
It's a pity rare collars and cap badges are found on scarce and unique But interesting items.  Therefore making them even rarer! Thanks for teasing or taunting me in this manner!  Cheers Rob
