This subject needs more investigation.
While there were sick bays at naval stations, anyone that needed hospital care would have gone to a public hospital. There was a total of 640 NZ Wrens during WW2 with a peak strength of 549 being reach in October 1944. Naval Nursing badges are not listed in the stores lists. Barry |
