Bronzed finish as you can see, but I don't know if the term new metal applies to modern badges that dont have a silver / gilt finish?
(Hopefully a new book due out shortly may clarify that).

A pair of PWRR collar dogs on a Dalman & Narborough Ltd sample card.

One piece badges with lugs, "F&S" marked on the back, they're labelled as officer's badges.

The wording lined through on the label is, I think, "Ammo / Sabre Sales"

Are they OSD or Other Ranks new metal badges or worn by all ranks?

I bought a collecting guide years ago (which was a waste of money), which had photos of Sabre Sales in it and in the photo there were boxes of fake badges on a counter. Put me off ever considering buying from that dealer.

Mike,
Thanks, I met Nick back in the early 1980s and visited his Southsea shop just before it finally closed. Came away with dozens of genuine lanyards at £1 each.
