New RN Photographers Trade Badge
I have just discovered that RN Photographers now have a new trade badge. I can honestly say it is the worst design I have ever seen - truly awful. Apparently they were first introduced in May 2018 but I haven't seen them until today.
I have attached a couple of images of examples so that everyone is aware. Pete Last edited by Guzzman; 08-06-19 at 10:23 AM. Reason: Additional information. |

Looks like a square peg / round hole situation.

Here's a picture of one of the RN's Photographers wearing the badge at the recent D-Day Commemoration in Portsmouth.

Looks like something off a 1950,s American Space cartoon.

When did a backpack become part of part of No 1 dress??

I assume that bag is for all his camera equipment and so allowed.

Yes,you never see an RN Phot without his prescious backpack of camera equipment! I think they have them surgically grafted onto them ...
