Default Royal Bucks Hussars - Guidance Required

Hi, could any of you please give me a steer - should I go for the Royal Bucks Hussars in brass or white metal? Is one more desirable than the other? Thanks for your help !

There was a bronzed version as well. I would suggest following your own preference with regard to desirability.

CB thanks so much (I'm a newbie so am still unsure of such things). The white metal option has a Firmin makers mark so will probably go for that one. The seller is a Forum member so I'm comfortable either way to be honest.
Thanks again!

As CB says it depends what you like and when you collect to.

The WM slidered Firmin badges are later is date, post WW2.

Luke, thanks so much - as always you come up with the goods yet again!
My preference is for war time badges so that info about the WM Firmin badge was just what I was after. I'll go for the brass version! Thanks Luke.
