Default Unidentified CVSB in Wreath

I'm stumped again. Anyone have any idea what this is?

CV/SB in a wreath. Gilding metal with two copper loops.

Mike,

It is a standard Silver Band cap badge worn by many town/colliery/factory brass and silver bands in the Victorian/Edwardian period.

ie Coventry Volunteer Silver Band etc etc, your guess is as good as anyones.

Several threads on here about similar badges with differing letters.

regards

Hi Simon, many thanks. I was beginning to suspect it might be civilian.
