I have one of these badges as well, although mine is a clearly better strike and has more of a patina to it.
While I often harbor doubts with regard to so many Indian Army badges, I am fairly comfortable with mine. I feel less so with this one. CB

Lovely quality! Almost certainly officer's if genuine, though for that I would have expected cast silver.
