Default Indian Parachute badge?

Hello Chaps

The image below is a badge that came in a badge lot.I think it's a clunker...even the Indians could not make such a lacklustre attempt,or could they?
Harsh comments especially welcome.

Dave,

Those are screw posts aren't they? If so its for the waist belt clasp. Sad to say Many Indian badges are locally made from a rough sand cast procedure. I believe there is an anodised version that's pretty rough too. I have a white metal version and a chromed version that aren't too bad,but could be improved upon.

Screw post's on post 47 IA badges normally indicates for wear on Belt buckle or pouch .
