Default WW1 , 229th Bn. Collars .

Good Morning . Here is a set of collars to the 229th Infantry Bn .,
South Sask.
The reverse side has maker , Crichton Moose Jaw ,
surrounding the top of the wheat sheaf .
Geo H Lees & Co 1916 is above overseas battalion ,
again on the reverse side .
2 different makers ,one contracted out to the other ?
Any thoughts ?
Robert.

Yes, there are several instances where two "maker marks" are found on the badges. The 229th was one with the badges probably made by Lees under contract to Crichton.
