Help with silver badge please.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on this badge as belonging to any institution or organisation or family/clan etc? It is a large very well made 19thC? unhallmarked silver badge featuring a rose, a thistle and a shamrock (obviously the emblems of the various nations of the UK at that time) over a blank shield. The reverse fitting is particularly robust in the form of military badge type loops secured with a silver bolt. Any info much appreciated. Thanks Tom.
