Default 11 (CLY) LAA Regt RA(TA)

I'm searching in vain for a regimental history of the Rough Riders in World War 2. Does any Gunner expert know if such a book exists? Does anyone have any information - dates, places, etc for this unit in the Second World war. All contributions (for an article in Militaria magazine) would be much appreciated.
Thanks. Mike

That is the bit I did not like, otherwise it would not have been there.

Marc, I have just remembered that I own a book of personal reminiscences of life in the Rough Riders in UK, NA and Italy from mid 41 to demob in Oct 45. "Broken Images" by John Guest (first published 1949). When I have searched for usable pieces of information, I'll loan it to you id you wish.

I don’t know if it is of any help but my Grandfather was in CLY and was based on Canvey Island as AA gunner until 1943 when he spent the rest of the war in North Africa and Italy.
