RASC Air Despatcher

Dear all, I've read that the first Air Despatcher companies were created in March 1944 within the RASC in preparation of Operation Overlord. I have yet only seen RASC Despatcher wings with the Queen's crown which brings us to 1953 - 1965 when the wings became RACT. Did the RASC despatcher also exist with King's crown ?

Hello Alain,

The Air Despatchers' brevet was introduced in 1956 so there wasn't a KC version. (Until now!)
