Default ROYAL ORDNANCE FACTORIES

Here are a few badges relating to the ROYAL ORDNANCE FACTORIES and other sites.
I beleive that the brass badge's were worn by rank & file and the white metal by Officer's. The first two badge's are ROF police, next two ROF Fire brigade and the last four are Ministry of Munitions police. I have the 1st four and looking for the last four.
Sorry the last 4 are a bit blurred but they are photo of a photo.

Default ROYAL ORDNANCE FACTORY 19

Can anyone help?? I have brought a badge to the ROYAL ORDNANCE FACTORY 19. This I have googled and come up with a list of ROF but none show 19. The badge was brought from Dorset area but this could mean nothing. It is 30mm in dia, brooch fixing and it has the number 2928 stamped to the bottom rear. It is maker marked T.L.M. Ltd B'HAM

Default ROF Badge

According to a list found in the National Archives ROF 19 was in Poole, Dorset which makes your badge a local find. It was an engineering ROF rather than a shellfilling one and its phone number was Broadstone 510.

Postwarden, Thanks for the info on ROF 19. I will make a note of it in case I ever decide to move it on

Regards Jerry.
