D of C Collars
Hello Troops

The DCLI OR collars were unchanged until the regiments demise in 1959, so really there is no way to be sure if WW1 or 2.

Being slightly pedantic collars were not widely worn during WW1 as the practice was discontinued. They returning inter war but were generally not worn on BD during WW2 either.

Many thanks for all of your replys lads, I was told that the collars were similar to the cap badge but smaller.

Is that GM Alan? I've only ever seen those in WM for the 2nd VB.
The Victorian collars were a different pattern altogether the bugle with a castle and feathesr over the ribbons. |

The badge pictured in post #8 is a full-sized cap / glengarry on 3 loops.
