Default South Lancashire Regt collar badge

Hi,
I need your help to know when this South Lancashire Regt collar badge was worn.
Thank you.

It is an officer's collar, and was worn right up to 1958. Although not sure, I think the bottom scroll changed at some point, the earlier one being more rounded.

Thanks for your input
I indeed think that the bottom scroll has changed of shape, and as you say, the "rounded" scroll is the earliest. But, at some point the spelling has changed too, from "PRINCE OF WALES'S VOLS" to "THE SOUTH LANCASHIRE REGIMENT", but when ?

That pattern was sealed in 1951.

Thanks a lot !
So, if I am right, worn by Officers from 1951 to 1958.
Not in my collection theme, so if anyone is interested, feel free to contact me.
Regards
