Default Soldier's Photograph Album, Middle East.

I recently purchased a soldier's photograph album from his time in the Middle East, 1945/46.

He seems to have served with the Royal Army Service Corps but was attached to a battalion of the Parachute Regiment. The photograph album has mainly photographs of the type sold in packets to tourists, local landmarks, beauty spots, etc.

The first few pages have been customised and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a Pegasus had been mounted behind a cellophane window on the inside cover.

Thank you. I am still working on the original owner's identity. I have two names to go on. On the title page there is a feint pencil inscription of the man's unit which I am hoping to decipher.

I carefully removed the shield and cellophane that covered the Pegasus in order to photograph it. I have now reassembled the whole thing back to how it has been for the last 77 years.
