Default Few off the list…

Very pleased to have taken delivery of these today.

The 4th Northants economy was probably top of my wants list with the early white metal NDH and 1916 all GM issue Yorkshire Dragoons not far behind.

Some lovely badges there (It's Yorkshire Hussars, not Dragoons though - i'm sure you knew that already !)

Luke
What with the four crackers you showed us in July, you really must have a superb source and/or a keen eye to have spotted these. Now just to really rub it in please don't tell us you paid less than a tenner for each of them........?

The 4th Northants is way up there on my list too. I recall either Bosleys or C&T had one for auction a couple of months ago (can't remember which), but ended up being too steep for my pocket. Next time though! Maybe!

I think it was you that started me on my Northants journey a couple of years ago. I now have the 4th bi's I hope so the all gm would be a great addition someday.

Thanks Mark, and good memory. My TF Northants was indeed from C&T so that was me on the bidding, sorry. Three of the others were from Bosley’s so it was an expensive round of drinks!

Was desperate for the Northants as it completed my TF economy collection, or so I thought until a 4th Dorsets turned up…

Two stunning badges you have there Mark, especially the mint condition 4th Bn SA hons, which I believe was in the same C&T? Great stuff.

Default TF Northamptons economy

I first saw a TF Northamptons economy in the 1950's in a box of badges my cousin had that I think were his Grandfathers. I have asked him about the box of which he has no recollection and my guess is it was put in the dustbin.

Lucky dustmen and still on my "wants list".

This one landed today Mark.

Believe it is a particularly nice officers bronzed OSD collar and reliably informed in Churchill, ref 1327.

Thanks Mark. Keeping the Northamptonshire theme going a 1st V.B. Northants landed today with a few others thanks to David Smith.

The Lambourne slider on the decapitated Mancs glob is for a possible future repair job.

Yes it is. Here you go.

I’m sure David won’t mind me using his pics, my photography couldn’t do it justice.
