Default Army Educational Corps

Is this badge surposed to have a slider ? Or is it fine with lugs . Looks original what do you think ?

I don't quite understand the question as to why such a badge "should" have a slider. All I can say is that my example, shown here, obviously has one.

Let me explain it
I think what Spencer is asking is was the badge issued with lugs/loops or a slider, because his has lugs and yours obviously has a slider which is the genuine badge his or yours.

My father was in the AEC. If I recall correctly, his cap badge had a slider but the collar badges had lugs.

This seems a touch to large to be a collar badge . I just wondered if anyone else had a lugged version of this badge .
