I wonder if there might be scope for illustrating a few more civilian service badges and buttons in the appropriate part of the forum. A "databank" of railway, steamship company etc badges would help in identifying non-military items which might otherwise cause problems. I have noticed that police badges often say "police" or "constabulary", but other organisations are not always so helpful to the potential collector.
