Default FAKE RUR STAYBRITE

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI...53.m1438.l2765

Sold by a dealer to another dealer who will no doubt list it again.

Still does not make it genuine! This is one of the 'unofficial commissions'

Now this is an area that confuses me - A fake is something produced to deceive while an 'unofficial commission' are sometimes produced for the regiment to wear in uniform.

Just where does this badge fall? does anyone even know?

This and others were produced by a well known person in the early 1980's I wrote to the R U R in 1983 and still have the letter stating nothing to do with the regiment In my collection these are classified as fakes

As they were never worn by the regt during it's existence then it's a fake.

Gap filler if you want one but for the purist then it's not genuine; even if they were made by a firm of professional badge makers.
