It's not a cap badge. The real ones were unpierced with 3 lugs.

But there was a SNCO's arm badge which this may well be.

Problem is that the pierced badges are being faked.

Compare the head on yours to a genuine one and you will immediately see the difference apart from the voiding. Denis
