Default Any ideas on this Home Guard pin?

Hi Guys,

Was doing my usual wheeler dealing the other day and picked this badge up along with a second issue Services Rendered badge, this badge was marked up at 24 pounds with the SR badge being 15, managed with a bit of haggling to get the pair for a score... not bad, but don't know if it's official etc., but overall rather a lovely badge which with a bit of cleaning shall look great in my RWK section (I like Kentish stuff, being a Kentish man and all, never a man of Kent ;-) LOL)....

Tom

That will probably mean nothing at all to the "Colonials" of the forum.

So: "Anyone born West of the River Medway is a Kentish Man - hence the public house in Dunk's Green which is West of Maidstone and also West of the Medway is the Kentish Rifleman. Anyone born East of the River Medway is, by a relatively simple process of elimination, a Man of Kent".

Nice badge too.

Sorry, I love winding up my less knowledgable friends, especially when I get "Angry" at being called a man of Kent ;-) LOL

ATB,
Tom
