Set of Roman pan scale weights of lead cubes. 1st/2nd C.
They all have marks or inscriptions on them too weathered to decipher although you can make out a female bust facing left on one. The first four are the correct weights the three others are between 8 and 20gms light. From left to right.
1/2 Uncia; Uncia; Sextans; Quadrans; Triens; Triens; Septunx.

Two gilt embossed die-proofs. The first wrongly described as 1836 Coronation bust, it is the 1847 Gothic Crown bust with lace bodice.
The second is the 1897 Jubilee bust. Some rubbing to gilt stained copper showing through.

1900 card from a French chocolate coy, General Methuen talking to a Black Watch officer. Quite a lot of artistic licence with the uniforms!

HMS Cleopatra C Class Light Crusier. Rammed and cut in half the German destroyer G149 March 24 1916. Out of control herself she then collided with HMS Undaunted, both ships limped back to port.
