I'M 98% sure they are the real deal, having no-one around here who knows anything about badges is a bummer.

They are 1st pattern Rising Sun badges worn by the Australian Commonwealth Horse.

Nothing special about getting them.
bought the collars first, then snapped up the hat badge on ebay.
after the second pattern now, after that should have full set. I hope.

how did I miss that one.
what makes a full set? how are you collecting them? just the basic changes in pattern or variations/different manufacturers etc

I am trying to get an example of the 7 rising suns with collars as i thought that would cut costs down a fair bit.

I think it only comes in brass.

I've never seen an oxidised version.
